Mac Hackney
Accounting Assistant II
Mac E. Hackney is an Accounting Assistant II with the Purchasing Card Services Department. In this role, he is responsible for reviewing Non-Travel Concur Purchasing Card reports, buyBama limit increase requests, and responding to a variety of cardholder inquiries.
Mac has over thirty years of experience in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and purchasing card administration in both the public and private sectors. Before coming to the University of Alabama, Mac worked with the City of Suwanee, Georgia, and Time Warner Cable’s Atlanta Headquarters.
Mac is an active member of OCTSA. He is an avid traveler and amateur photographer.
