April Nelson is a Manager for Accounts Payable for The University of Alabama.  April has been an AP Manager at UA for over twenty years.  In this role, she is responsible for the Vendor Maintenance Area, the PO Invoicing Area, Advance and Petty Cash Reconciliations, UA Gift Card/Virtual Gift Card Program, Post Audit & Document Management Area, Data Reports, 1099 Reporting and Compliance of Federal, State and University Policy and Procedures.

April has worked at The University of Alabama for over twenty-three years.  Prior to being a Manager for Accounts Payable, April worked her way up from being a Data Entry Clerk, Sr AP Clerk, Associate Manager all in the Accounts Payable Department at The University of Alabama.  She is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
