Mary Katherine is the Director of Accounts Payable for The University of Alabama.  In this role, she is responsible the oversight of the Accounts Payable team which is tasked with disbursing payments to vendors and reimbursements to employees in a responsible and timely manner, while ensuring compliance with the requirements established by Federal regulations, State laws, and University policies and procedures.

Prior to joining The University of Alabama, Mary Katherine held positions with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Mars, Incorporated in the Washington, DC, area and Bridgestone Americas in Nashville, TN.  Mary Katherine earned a Bachelor and Master of Accountancy from the University of Alabama and Masters of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Mary Katherine holds an active CPA license in the State of Alabama and is actively involved in the United Way of West Alabama serving each year on the Volunteer Allocation Team.
